Yesterday, I posted part A of my new podcast.
Without any further gilding the lily and with no more ado, I present to you the one, the only, Paaaaaart B!
I know you were losing sleep waiting for this. Enjoy!

You can edit audio files with audacity.
This hit my spam folder originally. I know it’s spam, but I’m fishing it out and approving it anyway, only because of the extreme irony of it. See, I use Audacity to build my podcasts. I’ve known about Audacity for years, and I love it! I’m literally on budget of $20 per year, which covers the cost of domain registration and hosting the DNS zone file at WordPress so that I don’t have to be http://josiahcm.wordpress.com (although that would direct you here, too).
Since only my barest administrative costs are covered, I can’t afford software for podcast pre-production or post-production. Enter open source, GNU public license software. To write my podcasts, I use CeltX, which is similar to Final Draft. For actual production, I use either a $10 Radio Shack microphone that isn’t for recording on computers to record the audio directly to Audacity, or I use a pocket digital voice recorder and transfer the file to my computer for editing. For post-production, I use Audacity. I can’t recommend these programs enough! They are excellent packages prepared by some wonderfully talented programmers.
