It is the mission of Back Rome Again to be an apologetics ministry in service to God, part of the mission component of my service to the Order of Preachers, educating Christian people of all denominations in the biblical, historical, and philosophical truths of the Christian faith.

We will achieve these ends through the following means:

• Writing posts and articles on this blog
• Contributing meaningful posts in discussion boards on philosophical and religious truth
• Expanding to other media, such as YouTube and podcasting
• Monitoring the news and other blogs for signs of apostasy, reporting them and refuting them where necessary

The specific errors or false religions which we speak against include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Atheism (especially the militant atheism espoused by Richard Dawkins or Christopher Hitchens)
• “Rad Trad” Catholicism
• Sedevacantists, those who deny the legitimacy of Pope Leo XIV (and Pope Francis before him)
• Wolves in sheep’s clothing, such as John Shelby Spong, Fred Phelps, Harold Camping, and others who claim the title of “Christian” but are not
• Liberal or Progressive Christianity
